Why do you provide menstrual products?
Despite menstrual products being recognized as critical to the health and wellbeing of women, funds provided by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) cannot be used to purchase sanitary hygiene products in most states.
Why does the quality of menstrual products matter?
According to a recent report released by Women’s Voices for the Earth (WVE), Clean & Healthy New York, Sierra Club (Atlantic Chapter) and WE ACT for Environmental Justice, many hygiene products contain undisclosed chemicals and toxic contaminants that can seriously affect the health of women. We carefully select high-quality menstrual products free of such chemicals and contaminants to help women who are suffering due to abuse, trauma, poverty, and addiction.
